April 13: Barnes & Noble says it has received more than 500,000 advance orders for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.'

A molecular scientist in North Carolina has come up with a new way to get caffeinated in the morning.

DURHAM. N.C. - That cup of coffee just not getting it done anymore? How about a Buzz Donut or a Buzzed Bagel? That's what Doctor Robert Bohannon, a Durham, North Carolina, molecular scientist, has come up with. Bohannon says he's developed a way to add caffeine to baked goods, without the bitter taste of caffeine. Each piece of pastry is the equivalent of about two cups of coffee.

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.

For those of you that let out a huge sigh of relief at my departure I possibly should apologize, but I won't. For those of you that hounded the dog living crap out of me to get my butt back here, thanks. I thought about it for a long time and decided a couple of things. First of all, since being here *almost* since the site's inception, being away completely was like losing a limb. Didn't like that much. Secondly, I was the biggest advocate of not getting your panties in a bunch when someone decides to be an overly opinionated ass and decided I needed to take my own advice. Yes, I got my panties in a major bunch, and yes, I lost a very good friend over the way things turned out. That still haunts me and probably always will. There is a difference between debating and being horrible to one another and it got to the horrible stage. I *STILL* don't like it when rebuttals become personal attacks and won't hesitate to let that be known. Yeah I know, since when have I ever kept my mouth shut? C'est la vie. Anyway, just a little FYI, I am back. Celebrate or go drown yourself in your sorrows, whatever works. :D

After one old boar after another kept turning their snouts up at her, Wilma the Pig had a makeover -- and it turned her into a star.

She found a mate, had eight piglets and made a guest appearance on a television chat show in the UK hosted by Sharon Osbourne, the wife of rock star Ozzy.

The country outlaw is back on the road again after a pot-powered pitstop early Monday.

Nelson and several of his band mates received misdemeanor citations for marijuana possession after their tour bus was pulled over in Louisiana. The bust came just two days after Nelson called for the decriminalization of marijuana while stumping for Texas gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman.
