Call the CongressCritter that's screwing you over and you'll get a 19 year old snotnosed intern that can't wait to be a CongressCritter so THEY can screw you over too - after they tell you that your CongressCritter is "out."

Call the company that makes the microwave oven that short-circuited and burst into flames, ruining your best kitchen towels and neutering your best dog Spot, and you'll be lucky if you can get an English-speaking Customer Disservice Representative sometime before your great-great-great-great-grandkids spill Kool-Aid on the XBox 9 in your living room.

Call the school that's boring your kid to death and/or suicide, just so they can tell you again that Poor Johnny/Janey needs Kiddie Kocaine (Ritalin, Prozac, et al) so he can sit still and pay attention when you've witnessed him watching the Discovery Channel and actually LEARNING by him/herself.

Go ahead. We dare you. We'll wait right here.

When you get back, we'll be right here, cussing and discussing the same things as before, looking for solutions, trying alternatives, rejecting the bad, bragging about the good, pointing at The Fools, and laughing like maniacs. Maybe we'll change The System, improve it, refine it.

And even if we can't, we can at least help the next bunch, the person YOU were 5, 10, 20, or 50 years ago when you first looked around and thought to yourself, "Hey, this ain't quite right." Help the next bunch to get through this thing called Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness.
