Easy salisbury steak

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1/3 cup pepperidge farm herb seasoned stuffing crushed
  • 2tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 can (10 1/4 oz.) campbells beef gravy
  • 1 jar (about 4 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms,drained (optional)
  • 4 cups hot mashed potatoes
Cooking Instructions
Mix thouroughly beef,stuffing,onion ,and egg. Shape firmly into four patties, 1/2 inch thick.

Heat oil in skillet. Add patties and cook until browned. pour off fat.

Add gravy and mushrooms. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes, or until done. Serve with the potatoes.
