World Record to be Set
Submitted by Solitaire on Tue, 2007-11-06 16:34.Ever dreamed of being a World Record holder?? Our man Brandon Pereyda has!!! (No not for hottest man alive, although if this were a World Record catagory, the Chippendales men would have it in the bag!) This month, Brandon will attempt to set the world record for the most roll-downs from aerial silks on RTL's Guinness Show!!!
This is very exciting for those of us fans of the Chippendales. Brandon is an especially talented Chippendale.
Warning!
Submitted by Solitaire on Sun, 2007-09-16 10:24.The below information was sent to me via email. I thought it was important to share with everyone.
I checked Snopes.com and even tried this myself. Protect your personal information and remove your phone number by following directions below.
Subject: Google phone number look up.
Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit MapQuest, you will get a map to the person's house. Everyone should be aware of this! It's a nationwide reverse telephone book.
I need help!!!!
Submitted by Solitaire on Wed, 2007-07-18 09:39.About a week and a half ago, I received the news that my oldest brother only has about a year to live unless he can qualify and receive a liver transplant before it's too late. He wasn't sure what he was gonna do so I talked myself into not telling Mom yet. I was waiting until I had more details. (Actually, I was avoiding an issue that I didn't want to deal with and that is breaking my heart.)
It's left up to me to tell my mom. Joe, my brother, called a few minutes ago and gave me further details. He has decided to go for the transplant. He asked me if I had told Mom yet and I had to admit that I hadn't. He is pushing me; in fact, he made me promise, to tell Mom today.
This is absolutely Maddening.

Sad Day
Submitted by Solitaire on Sat, 2007-05-19 08:32.Today is the first anniversary of the passing of my Dad. Man, someone needs to come up with another word for this. I usually think of an anniversary as something good and fun. Today so~~~~ isn't one of those days.
The Traffic Ticket

A motorcycle officer stops a vehicle that has run a red light. The driver is a real jerk and comes running back to the officer and asks why he is being harassed by the Gestapo and the officer calmly tells the driver of the red light violation.
The driver goes into a tirade, and questioning the officer's ancestry, sexual orientation etc .
The officer takes it all in professional stride and writes the ticket and places an "AH" in the bottom right hand corner - Narration"

The show will go on, but it won't quite be the same show.
The Chippendales, the world-famous men's erotic dance act, were scheduled to take the stage today at 8 or 8:30 p.m. at Time Out, a sports bar in the North Village Mall. But the plans had been uncertain until late Friday.
Citizens for Community Values, the nonprofit anti-pornography group that has fought to rid South Bend of its strip bars, Friday sent a "citizen complaint and notice of violation" regarding the planned show to local governments, police and news media.
A Friend Test
Submitted by Solitaire on Sat, 2007-05-05 13:26.Received via email.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator & helps himself (and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your 'beer/Pepsi drawer' with her foot!)
A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears..
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in his or her address book.

Submitted by Solitaire on Tue, 2007-05-01 16:49.OMG!! OMG!! OMG!!
Kevin is so sweet. He has a great voice. I even got a laugh out of him a time or two. Phyllis was MUCH more at ease talking to him than I was. I was so nervous I even SNORTED once when laughing. I don't know if Phyllis or Kevin noticed but I was so embarrassed.
I found out that Kevin speaks a little German because of his travels.
He told me his favorite skit but I can't remember the name of it but it's the one with the bed, couch and motorcycle.
