Its time
Submitted by cLovis on Thu, 2008-04-10 23:23.for John Murtha /democrat to go . I was pleasantly surprised when he said it was time to get out of Iraq . His support and constant draining of earmarks however make him another one of those blood suckers dining at the corporate table , while tax payers pay the tab. "More is on the way. In the massive 2008 military-spending bill now before Congress -- which could go to a House-Senate conference as soon as Thursday -- Mr. Murtha has steered more taxpayer funds to his congressional district than any other member. The Democratic lawmaker is chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, which will oversee more than $459 billion in military spending this year"

I have always said
Submitted by cLovis on Sun, 2008-04-06 17:50.the primary thing we have to worry about in this country is not left vs right , but the power of the corporation in "our " government. The biggest dangers of a supreme court is not the danger of roe vs wade being overturned ,but a supreme court totally on the side of big buisiness against the individual. Another brick in that wall with the way this court under john roberts is proceeding. Corporations always right , the individuals protections , not so much .To quote george orwell in animal farm " The 7 Commandments are abridged for the last time, simply reading, "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." the state(government) run and controlled by corporate power is the definition of fascism according to Mussolinni, the founder of fascism .
